Meal Service Distribution Update

Starting with March 30 and moving forward, the district will transition to Meal Service pick-ups three days per week. Families will still receive seven days worth of food per child with pick ups on Monday, Wednesday and Friday each week. Pick-ups will still take place between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. each pick-up day at your pick-up location (Roosevelt Elementary or OLMS).

A breakdown of what families will receive is listed below:

  • Monday - Two Days of Meals: One cooked hot lunch, one uncooked lunch (with heating instructions) and two breakfasts
  • Wednesday - Two Days of Meals:  One cooked hot lunch, one uncooked lunch (with heating instructions) and two breakfasts
  • Friday - Three Days of Meals:  One cooked hot lunch, two uncooked lunches (with heating instructions) and three breakfasts

  • Meals are FREE
  • Meals are available to anybody 18 years old or younger 
  • Meals are also available to anybody up to age 26 who are enrolled in an educational program for the mentally or physical disabled that is recognized by a state or local public educational agency
  • Preorders are REQUIRED
  • Children do NOT have to be present claim their meal. Parents or siblings may pick up meals for all children in the household.
  • Meals should be consumed right away or properly refrigerated to maintain food safety

Meals will be distributed in the front drop-off/pick-up loop of sites meal service distribution sites from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday & Friday each week:

  • Roosevelt Elementary (2065 Cass Lake Rd, Keego Harbor, MI 48320)
  • Orchard Lake Middle School (6000 Orchard Lake Rd, West Bloomfield Township, MI 48322).
